Meet Catherine 

Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Pre- and Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist, M.S. Health and Wellness Management

My wellness journey began during my teenage years when I desperately wanted to be thin. I spent the next 5 years overexercising, undereating and hating my body. This is a typical experience of many woman in the fitness industry: enter looking to "get healthy" only to be exposed to behaviors and habits that are the furthest thing from it. It is easy to fall into the trap of diet culture, the cult of thinness quick fixes and curated social media accounts but does this truly help us "get well?"

Since having my daughter in 2018, I have been on a journey of learning how to love and care for myself properly. This included how to feed myself well and mindfully, how to move my body well and mindfully, how to foster passion and interest in the haze of motherhood, how to develop the resiliency and fortitude needed to be a regulated parent and how to create a balanced and sustainable lifestyle that allows me to show up and avoid burnout. I have taken a deep dive into evidence-based, cutting-edge health and wellness practices within the curriculum of my master's degree as well as my trainer, instructor, nutrition and corrective exercise certification curriculum. I have developed an approach to help even the busiest of woman embrace holistic self-discovery because we all deserve to live life comfortably, boldly and connected to their bodies and spirits.
